this is a great game! I have been playing for about an hour now and I've faced the Eternal Samurai a bunch of times. the game getting to the eternal samurai is long and I was hoping that was the final boss. then he kept spawning again and again and I rage quit. Quality graphics and a nice loop. It took a while to get a grasp of the combat system and even now I'm not entirely sure how it works lol. Great work for 48 hours!

Nice. I didn’t even get there and I made the game. I wasn’t expecting it to be possible to get to him, let alone beat him. I just kind of threw a bunch of fights together and didn’t have the time to make a victory screen.

No worries! Knowing that was the final boss gives me a sense of completion lol. I enjoyed the multi-layered rock paper scissor element to the combat. In the final fight he starts with 99 and I had 73. for most of the fights they have less hp than you so there's less immediate pressure on the player when you low roll. But when your opponent can beat you even if you go even- it gave me a sense of outplay when I finally put him under my hp.

I really enjoyed it! I really like the art, animations and the music. I liked how you combined the strategy game with randomness of the dice!

Love the artstyle and music and also chat-driven narrative is cool thing. Didn't understand how to play.. maybe some tutorial or tooltips would improve understanding
Great job!

Art Epic, Music Epic, Gameplay great though i struggled with figuring out how the diffrent things interact. And i couldnt figure out how the amount of dice are calculated.

I noticed that when you match your enemies attack (bodypart and element) there are no dice thrown. I think if the element or the bodypart are the same (one player attack vs other player defence) you get less dice and there might be a rock, paper, scissors mechanism involved, but not sure

Yeah thats about how far i came understanding the mechanics :P

I think showing the player their choices & the opponent's moves during the combat phase would've made things a bit clearer

This is epic. Love the soundtrack!

Feel free to come check out my game if you have time:)

i had a lot of fun with this game maybe you could add elements/attacks to the sword for more variety.
